As a seasoned newborn photographer with over 600 babies captured in my Sea Girt studio, I'm excited to introduce a new offering: in-home newborn photography sessions. Bringing the magic of capturing those precious early moments right to your doorstep, these sessions offer convenience, comfort, and unparalleled memories without the hassle of leaving your home.

One of the greatest advantages of opting for an in-home newborn photography session is the convenience it provides for new parents. With a newborn in tow, leaving the house can often feel like a daunting task. Add toddlers to the mix, and the idea of packing up for a photo shoot becomes even more overwhelming. By bringing the session to you, I aim to alleviate the stress and inconvenience of traveling with a newborn, allowing you to relax and focus on what matters most – your growing family.

During the session, dads are encouraged to make themselves at home, whether it's catching up on work in the home office or simply unwinding in their favorite corner of the house. With no need to venture out to a studio, dads can enjoy the comfort of their own space while I work my magic capturing those precious moments with their newborn and toddlers.

A typical in-home newborn photography session lasts approximately 2-2.5 hours, allowing ample time for feeding, soothing, and capturing those adorable poses. To ensure the comfort and safety of your little one, it's essential to keep the room warm – around 80 degrees – for at least 2 hours leading up to the session. This cozy environment helps keep newborns snug and content throughout the shoot, resulting in beautiful, relaxed images.

Despite the misconception that a large studio space is necessary for newborn photography, in-home sessions require only a small area to work with. Whether it's the nursery, master bedroom, or even a cozy corner of the living room, I can work with any space to create stunning portraits of your newborn and family.

Rest assured, I come fully equipped with professional lighting, equipment, and props to transform any space into a makeshift studio. From adorable wraps and delicate headbands to cozy blankets and baskets, every detail is carefully curated to create timeless images that you'll cherish for a lifetime. A little unsure? Check out this blog post on photographing Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino's sweet daughter, Luna; the session was done in a small corner of her nursery!

One of the greatest benefits of opting for an in-home newborn photography session is the minimal disruption to your daily routine. Unlike a traditional studio setting, where you may feel rushed or out of place, an in-home session allows you to relax and be yourself in the comfort of your own home. From feeding breaks to diaper changes, I work around your baby's schedule, ensuring a stress-free and enjoyable experience for the entire family.

In conclusion, preparing your home for a newborn photography session is a simple yet rewarding process that offers unparalleled convenience, comfort, and flexibility. With the expertise of a seasoned newborn photographer like myself, you can rest assured knowing that every precious moment will be captured with care and creativity, right in the heart of your own home.
